Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson

Nancy Wilson was born 20th February 1937 in Chillicothe. She was the daughter of Olden Wilson, an iron worker, and Lillian Ryan (a former housemaid). Nancy was the youngest out of 6 siblings. Nancy was greatly influenced as a girl by the music that her father played and loved when she was at her home. As a young girl, she already had a strong sense of who she was and what she hoped to accomplish. The choir at church helped develop the talent. Following her win in a talent show on television when she was 15, she started to regularly appear in Skyline Melodies, while still at high school. In the year she turned fifteen, she began her journey in night clubs. Nancy dropped out of Central State University in Ohio after being matriculating for a full year. In 1956, she recorded her debut album along with Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band. They toured together throughout 1956 until 1958. In the band, Nancy made her first recording with Dot Records. Cannonball Adderley urged her to move into New York in order to increase her fame. The city she went to was The Big Town, New York in the year 1959. After just a few days, Adderley's manager heard her singing and hired her. The contract was signed signing her with Capitol records in 1960, and she made her debut that year by releasing the single. Guess Who? Capitol Records came out with five Nancy Wilson albums over a two-year period. The first was focused on R&B and then, with Adderley's influence, she began to embrace jazz. The 1962 group collaboration of Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley led her to the top and she had her breakout hit Tell Me the Truth in 1963. The following year, she was asked to perform at New York's Coconut Grove, the most sought-after nightclub in America.

Maisie Richardson-Sellers is an British TV and film actress. She played the leading role in Chloe Winthrop, in Netflix's film The Kissing Booth. In the ABC Biblical Series Of Kings and Prophets the actress was the King's daughter Michal. In addition to that, she's worked on many TV programs, like The Originals. Legends of Tomorrow.
