Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson

Nancy Wilson was born 20th February 1937 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Olden Wilson, a ironworker and Lillian Ryan (a former housemaid). Nancy was the youngest out of 6 siblings. Nancy loved listening to records from her father as well as his passion for music. As a young girl, she already had a strong sense of her identity and the things she wanted to be. The choir at church helped develop the talent. In high school, she appeared regularly with Skyline Melodies. The same year, Nancy began to perform at night clubs. Following her graduation from high school at the age of 17, Nancy was enrolled for a semester at the Ohio's Central State College now Central State University before leaving and becoming professional as a performer. Her first recording was in Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band in 1956. The group was on tour from 1956 until 1958. Nancy released her debut recording via Dot Records during the time she spent with this group. Cannonball advised her to move into New York and go to The Big Town to continue her professional career. Adderley's Agent heard her at The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she signed. within a month of her arrival in New York City. It was a contract with Capitol Records in the year 1960. The year was 1960 when she made her debut with. Guess Who I Stopped Today. Capitol has released five Nancy Wilson albums within two years. The first was focused on R&B and then, with Adderley's influence, she embraced jazz. Nancy Wilson's collaboration in 1962 in 1962 with Cannonball Adderley propelled her to the top of the charts, and in 1963, she had her debut hit Tell Me the Truth. It was this performance that led her to a spot at New York Coconut Grove in 1963. It was the most crowded in America's nightclub.

Maisie Richardson Sellers is an actress that is active in TV and films. She was best known for her character Chloe Winthrop on Netflix's The Kissing Booth. in the ABC Biblical Series Of Kings and Prophets the actress played King Saul's daughter Michal. Her other TV performances include The Originals, Legends of Tomorrow, Group Chat with Annie&Jayden and many more.
