Suzanne Pleshette was an American actress and voice-over artist. She held more than a hundred credits during her five decade-long career. Pleshette, a native New Yorker, started her career on the stage before gradually transitioning to film. The most viewed of her films are Rome Adventure, The Birds, Fate Is the Hunter and If It's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium. Her TV roles and films were also varied. She received 4 Emmy Awards nominations and was not only nominated for two Golden Globe Awards. Two times she was nominated, Pleshette won the Laurel Award in 1963 for 'The Birds'. Pleshette's death in 2008 led to a posthumous award of a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
