Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress who is best known for her work in her role in the Freeform the fantasy show Shadowhunters as well as the Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda, and Voltea pa' que te enamores. Additionally, she dances and is also a model. Her home is in Montreal however, she grew up studying in Texas. Her passion for dancing has been in her since childhood. Since her early years she was trained in a variety different styles of dancing. In her teens, she was a contestant in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia rose to fame when in 2008, she appeared as an contestant on Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty competition. In 2010, she made her acting d but as a receptionist for an episode of Telemundo's telenovela Aurora. In 2015 she starred in her debut feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
